FC Platinum was shocked when they were told not to wear their kappa track bottoms despite temperatures being way below 15 degrees that day because the font on the tracksuit bottoms is too big and doesn’t conform to required sizes for teams’ sponsors’ logos, The Chronicle reports
According to club Chairman Evans Mtombeni:
Their argument is that the logo will be more visible than Caf sponsors and as such we can’t wear our tracksuit bottoms because the logo would somehow overshadow the tournament sponsors’ logo. It’s not that we are wearing fake Kappa regalia, no, all those are original tracksuits.
FC Platinum is in Cairo for the Caf Champions League.
