Marry Considering "Taking Action" Against VP Chiwenga Over Deployment Of The Army To Block Her

Marry Mubaiwa-Chiwenga is reportedly planning to take legal action against Vice President Constantino Chiwenga who deployed the army to block her from entering their matrimonial home and other properties.

The former army boss reportedly does not want his estranged wife to have access to her children, clothes, motor vehicles and personal goods.

Marry’s lawyer, Taona Nyamakura, confirmed the development to VOA Zimbabwe Service adding that the move was a violation of a court order which said Marry should live at the matrimonial Borrowdale Brooke mansion in Harare as a bail condition. Nyamakura said:

We are actually considering court action against General Chiwenga.

The former model and the Vice President had a fall out when the former army boss was hospitalised over suspected poisoning.

Upon Chiwenga’s return from China, Marry was ordered out of their matrimonial home.

Marry was later arrested by ZACC on the 15th of December accused of attempting to kill the vice president, money laundering, externalisation of funds and fraudulently seeking to upgrade her customary union to a civil marriage without her husband’s consent.

She is currently out of remand on bail.
