Warriors coach, Zdravko “Loga” Logarusic has said that Zimbabwe shall have three friendly matches before travelling to Cameroon for the CHAN tournament slated for the 4th to the 25th of April.
28 pplayers are expected in camp starting this Sunday and shall have a ten-day camping during which they play against three local clubs. He said:
We will have two training sessions per day and then we will play three friendly matches against the Premiership sides.
In those matches, these players will be required to feature 40-45 minutes. We are cognisant of where we are coming from.
He also said that they will be cautious so as not to have them injured as the Castle Lager Premier Soccer League is starting soon.
CHAN is only for locally based players.
