Apostle Talent Chiwenga has said that women should have taken action against the harassment of Marry Mubaiwa Chiwenga the estranged wife of Vice President Constantino Chiwenga.
His remarks come when Marry has been into prison for a number of times where she would spend many days for allegedly intending to assassinate her husband, money laundering and externalisation of funds as well as beating a family maid.
Marry, a former model, denies the allegations saying the “trumped-up” charges are the former army boss’ strategy to get rid of her.

His remarks coincide with the 2020 International Women’s Day themed: An equal world is an enabled world. The day is celebrated annually on 8 March.
