Zimbabwe’s Defence Minister, Oppah Muchinguri-Kashiri on Saturday made shocking remarks on the novel coronavirus which she described as God’s punishment to Western countries over the imposition of sanctions on Zimbabwe.
The pandemic emerged in China in December last year and has spread to over 150 countries leaving thousands dead.
Several flights and events have been suspended while some countries have closed their borders in a bid to prevent the spread or to contain the virus.
