Juventus star Paulo Dybala has taken to Twitter to share with his fans that he tested positive for COVID-19, New Zimbabwe reports.
Paulo reportedly confirmed that him and his girlfriend both tested positive for COVID-19 in this tweet:
Hi everyone, I just wanted just to inform you that we have received the results for the Covid-19 test and both Oriana and I have tested positive. Luckily we are in perfect conditions. Thanks for your messages
His Tweet was immediately followed by his team’s tweet which confirmed his status and said:
Footballer Paulo Dybala has undergone medical tests that have revealed his positivity to Coronavirus-COVID-19.
The player, (since) on Wednesday 11 March, (is) in voluntary home isolation, will continue to be monitored and to follow the same regime. He is well and is asymptomatic
Paulo joins a list of high profile people like Idris Alba, British Health Minister and 2 first ladies who have tested positive for the virus.
