South African youths have been hosting parties dubbed ‘coronavirus parties.” For some, the parties are an indication that they are not serious about the coronavirus pandemic.
Some observers have also argued that the parties could have been a result of reports that the youths are not more vulnerable to the virus than the elderly and those with preexisting health conditions.
The virus has rapidly spread in both the world and South Africa leaving thousands dead and or infected.
South Africa started implementing a 21-day country lockdown last night which shall citizens confined to their homes.
