The police yesterday arrested 182 people countrywide for violating lockdown restrictions, The Chronicle reports. According to the publication:
Residents yesterday continued to defy the lockdown order as police arrested 182 people throughout the country for the violations at a time when over 1 000 visitors from countries with confirmed Covid-19 cases are in Bulawayo.
Meanwhile, Bulawayo residents are slowly returning to their day to day life as they were seen in commodity queues, hitchhiking and roaming around town despite the lockdown that is supposed to end later on this month. Bulawayo has not yet recorded a single COVID-19 positive case.
