Zimbabwean socialite and former Big Brother contestant, Pokello Nare has announced that she is assisting pregnant women and single mothers with groceries and rentals during the national lockdown period.
Pokello, who is also known as the Queen of Swagger, announced her initiative on social media where she posted saying:
We are playing a small part to help out during these trying times. If you are a Pregnant woman or a Single mother struggling to get groceries and a little upkeep money, please contact my team on the number below and we will do our best to assist.
The national lockdown was imposed on the 30th of March and was on Sunday extended to the 3rd of May to curb the spread of coronavirus.
Resultantly, several companies which were sources of income to many citizens were forced to cease operations.
This has worsened the plight of many Zimbabweans who were already grappling with the economic and humanitarian crisis in the country.
