Councillor Chrispen Rambu who represents ward 8 for Chipinge town council was reportedly called by Chipinge CID after he allegedly referred to President Mnangagwa as a fool who copies South African president Cyril Ramaphosa’s moves when it comes to dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic.
This was tweeted by Fanuel Chinowaita on Twitter in a tweet that reads:
MDC Alliance Councillor Chrispen Rambu of Ward 8 Chipinge Town council called by Chipinge CID for allegedly calling ED a fool who has no plans for his citizens after S.A. President Ramaphosa announced that he will give R 500b for his people.
According to Bulawayo24, Rambu who is represented by lawyer Rinonzi Gwamanda, said “You won’t doubt that we’re having a fool for a head of state” a statement that reportedly landed him in hot water.
