Infant's Mutilated Body Found At A House In Masvingo

Residents of a Masvingo suburb have been left in shock after the corpse a one-month-old baby was found in the early hours of Friday morning at a house belonging to one Barauta, with its left arm and both legs missing.

The mother of the baby has not been identified and the gender of the infant could not be ascertained.

Police have confirmed the incident and have appealed for members of the public with information which can help with investigations to come forward.

Masvingo Provincial acting police spokesperson, Assistant Inspector Kudakwashe Dehwa said:

We appeal to members of the public who may have information which can help us to investigate to come forward.
