The official exchange rate has risen from last week’s US$1: ZWL$65.8 to today’s US$1: ZWL$68.8.
The amount allotted at the auction was US$15.9 million from bids totalling US$18.7 million.
The considerable difference between the total bids and the amount allotted means that the Zimbabwe dollar will continue sliding.
