Zimbabwe’s Ministry of Health and Child Care has announced that the country recorded 13 coronavirus deaths between 1 and 3 August.
The total number of fatalities recorded in the country has now risen to 97 following the latest deaths.
The cases were confirmed after post mortems were done. The deceased include nine (9) males and four (4) females from Harare and Mashonaland West Provinces.
The country also recorded 56 new cases – 54 local and 2 returnees, 1 from Zambia and 1 from South Africa.
