Peter Muduhwa Sudanese Deal Not Going Ahead - Report

Facilitators who were organising the possible move of Highlanders’ defender Peter Muduhwa have reportedly pulled a plug on the deal after it emerged that Muduhwa was under the management of Gibson Mahachi as they were finalising his trip to Sudan that was supposed to have taken place this week.

Muduhwa reportedly failed to disclose that Mahachi was his manager but admitted that he had a “personal manager” Siphambaniso Dube.

A source privvy to the development told the publication that:

Muduhwa’s move to Sudan has collapsed. The guys who were organising the deal are the same who facilitated Prince’s move to Azam. They are not happy that there has been lack of honesty in how the matters involving Prince and Muduhwa have been handled.

Remember, when negotiations were being done for Prince, he had said he didn’t have an agent, but when he was about to travel, boom, Mahachi surfaced. And now Mahachi has appeared again, so the guys have dropped the deal. It’s a matter of once bitten, twice shy

Agent George Deda who facilitated the move of Prince Dube and Silas Songani and Last Jesi had started working on Muduhwa’s move 3 months ago.

Sipambaniso Dube who is Muduhwa’s personal manager reportedly said he was also shocked to learn that Mahachi was Muduhwa’s Manager:

To be honest I’m at loss for words because we had agreed that nothing will be signed until we finalise this deal. When I asked him (Muduhwa) he said he signed with Mahachi two weeks ago. We’re trying to get the two agents (Deda and Mahachi) to find common ground for the player’s sake

Deda who is reportedly still in Khatoum confirmed the deal is off while Mahachi reportedly refused to comment on the deal.
