The Zimbabwe School Examination Council (ZIMSEC) Thursday announced that the results for June 2020 Ordinary and Advanced levels are out.
Speaking on ZBC TV, ZIMSEC board chairperson Eddie Mwenje said the Heads of examination centres can collect the results starting Friday (today).
He also said the results will also be accessible on the ZIMSEC portal.
Professor Mwenje also indicated that the pass rate marginally fell compared to last year with this year’s O level pass rate going down to 17.91 percent from 23.06 percent in 2019.
The Advanced level pass rate dropped to 67.06 percent from last year’s 68.6 percent.
Mwenje explained that the delay in the writing, marking and publication of the June 2020 results was part of the preventive measures ZIMSEC implemented to avoid the spread of the Coronavirus.
