Zimbabwe on 17 December 2020 recorded another coronavirus-related death to bring the total number of fatalities to 314 since March.
The Ministry of Health and Child Care reported that the latest victim of the deadly virus was from Mashonaland East Province.
In its daily update, the Health Ministry said as of 17 December 2020, Zimbabwe had recorded a total of 11 866 cases 9 836 recoveries and 314 deaths.
The cases have been rising recently following months of low numbers of new cases.
Most of the cases recorded in the recent past are local.
