Speaking to VOA, Mpilo Hospital Solwayo Ngwenya has said borders should remain closed as he said it will be catastrophic to reopen borders now. Ngwena said the country will be opening itself up to receiving the new COVID-19 variants a problem Zimbabwe is not prepared to deal with right now if borders are opened.
