South Africa’s president, Cyril Ramaphosa last night addressed the nation on developments in the country’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
He applauded the frontline workers for their “tireless efforts” to curb the transmission of the coronavirus.
Ramaphosa also indicated that South Africa was not ready to return to normality as the country was still grappling with the deadly virus.
