Aspiring ZANU PF Kwekwe Central MP Had Bought Matemadanda A Vehicle - Report

Reports coming from Kwekwe are suggesting that the Zanu PF Kwekwe Central MP candidate Kandros Mugabe bought a car for the party’s political commissar Victor Matemadanda, Bulawayo24 reports.

Mugabe is being accused of winning the ruling party’s chaotic DCC polls with the help of Matamadanda who he reportedly bought a Toyota Landcruiser for in unclear circumstances.

When contacted for comment Mugabe told Bulawayo 24 that his detractors were giving false reports to President Mnangagwa in a bid to block him from contesting in the upcoming by-elections. He denied buying a car for Matemadanda and said:

Some people in the camp are just cooking stories for me l did not buy Matemadanda a car as alleged l won fairly and if l did buy him a car they was supposed to be a disciplinary action when we held DCC  elections which were violent but to date no action was taken there is no favour here.

The Kwekwe Central Parliamentary seat fell vacant following the death of the only NPF candidate Matambo Matambanadzo.

Meanwhile, Matamadanda was last week demoted by President Mnangagwa who deployed him to become the new Ambassador in Mozambique.
