Akello Books, a One-stop shop for Print and eBooks coming from a variety of publishers in Zimbabwe and abroad, has made it possible for one to access the new curriculum and hundreds of Zimsec e-books on any smart device.
Akello, a Cassava Edutech initiative, is an online library platform offering numerous school curriculum books set to support Zimbabwe’s education sector.
The CEO of Cassava Smartech Zimbabwe, the holding company of Cassava Edutech, Eddie Chibi, said the E-Library platform is meant to offer convenience to learners and students who have been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. Added Chibi:
With schools having been shut for a while and with the understandable uncertainty over their opening due to health and safety concerns, we still want students to achieve good grades and to excel, regardless of the schools they attend or their financial circumstance.

The initiative will help learners from all corners of the country to have access to the same material.
Some schools, especially those in the rural areas, are lagging behind in terms of material required for studies, a situation that puts their learners at a disadvantage.
