- 21 800 tests were conducted in the last 24hrs bringing the total to 22 515 686, with 2 824 new cases. Total cases recorded as of 8 February 3 626 014. The Department of Health RSA reported 268 deaths bringing total fatalities to 96 289 to date. Active cases: 42 745. Recovery rate: 96.2%
