The Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe (RBZ) this Monday, 25 July 2022 introduced the Mosi-oa-Tunya gold coins as a measure to stabilise the economy. The coins will be sold in local currency, US$ and other foreign currencies.
The central bank said their price is based on the prevailing international price of gold plus five per cent to cover the cost of production and distribution of the coin on a payment versus delivery basis. See the prices below:
