The Zimbabwe School Examination Council (ZIMSEC) has extended the June examination registration period for Ordinary and Advanced levels.
In a statement, ZIMSEC said it has extended the deadline to 24 March 2023. Reads the notice:
This is to notify candidates and guardians that the ZIMSEC Ordinary and Advanced Level June 2023 Examination Registration period has been extended to Friday 24 March 2024. Visit your nearest School/ Centre for registration.
Parents and guardians are guided to pay the fees in a currency of their choice. (Rand, USD, or ZWL).
Payments in ZWL are to be made using the prevailing interbank USD to ZWL exchange rate as of the 17th of March 2023, which is ZWL$1005 to USD 1.
Stakeholders and clients must note that:
- Government subsidy does not apply to candidates retaking any subjects;
- BEAM does not support retake examinations and;
- Candidates should have fulfilled the CALA requirements for them to sit for the June examinations.
