There is something fundamentally wrong in seven men standing up to define new Zimbabwe with no women: Priscilla Misihairabwi criticises MDC Alliance

MDC legislator Priscilla Misihairabwi-Mushonga has criticised the MDC Alliance for leaving out women in working on defining a new Zimbabwe. Misihairambwi criticised the fact that seven opposition leaders met together without a single woman present to form the MDC Alliance, to challenge President Robert Mugabe and Zanu-PF in next year’s elections. Said Mushonga:

I don’t care if they call me Zanu PF and say I want to derail the whole process; I really don’t care, even if they say she is CIO.

So sometimes I can’t even comment on some of those things and say this is wrong.

Don’t you think there is something fundamentally wrong in seven men standing up and say we are standing up and we are asking you to define a new Zimbabwe, with no woman standing up.

Because when they started the process we were not there, they picked each other, went to some corner, somewhere, and we don’t know where it is, defined the agreement and ran with it.

She also attacked Tsvangirai for the assault on Vice President Thokozani Khupe. Said Mushonga:

This is the same woman, Morgan (Tsvangirai) who has carried you throughout you struggles and problems and there is no mention of her throughout the whole conversation in that whole speech at Zimbabwe Grounds.

She doesn’t say anything she goes away and you follow her and beat her up.
