The Movement for Democratic Change party (MDC) has so far conducted the nomination process in six provinces.
Douglas Mwonzora, party Secretary General and Elias Mudzuri, party Vice President are yet to receive nominations. Meanwhile, the incumbent President, Nelson Chamisa had unchallenged nominations for the same post.
The former Bulawayo Senator David Coltart has so far been nominated unchallenged for the Treasurer General position.
Daniel Fortune Molekele and Charlton Hwende are a threat to Mwonzora’s current position after they were granted permission to contest the party’s influential post.
A 263Chat source revealed that Mwonzora was had been picked in all the four provinces as Vice President but was not seconded.
