The ruling Zanu PF and the opposition MDC Alliance will once again clash in local authorities by-elections for Bikita and Nyanga slated for July 1.
Moses Maposa, Thomas Matanga and Peter Mavenga, in that order, will be representing the MDC Alliance, Zanu PF and the National Constitutional Assembly in the Bikita Rural District Council Ward 31 by-election . The council seat was left vacant following the death of Zanu PF councillor Patrick Marozhe in April.
MDC-A’s Vincent Bopoto is expected to clash with Zanu PF’s Bisset Mapeta in the Nyanga Ward 26 by-election. The seat fell vacant after the death of MDC councillor Elias Mashumba in April after a short illness.
