Warriors caretaker coach Joey Antipas has re-instated Knowledge Musona as Warriors captain, Soccer24 reports.
Cefn Druids defender Alec Mudimu was given the armband in Musona’s absence from the national team during the Somalia games in which the Warriors qualified for the group stages of the 2022 World Cup qualifiers.
Zimbabwe clashes with Botswana and Zambia on November 15 and 19 respectively, in the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
If the reports of Musona’s reinstatement are confirmed, the Belgian-based forward will lead the Warriors for the first time since the AFCON 2019 finals in Egypt.
