Tensions between the USA and Iran have been mounting and many are just wondering why. While the USA blames Iran for shooting down USA drone, Iran says the drone was violating their airspace.
On the other hand, Iran blames USA for pulling out of the 2015 nuclear deal which would see the USA lifting sanctions on Iran whilst the Middle East country would ditch its nuclear programme. The USA pulled out of the deal, reimposed and enhanced sanctions on Iran.
Others think that the “impeached” USA president, Donald Trump who has also been making “controversial” and “unpopular” decisions and policies is using the Iran war to save his political career.
They also use Trump’s 2011 tweet which wrongly predicted that the then president of the USA, Barak Obama would wage war on Iran to win elections to validate their theory.
Others, however, believe that the USA is trying to protect its economic interests and to restore itself as a major player on the geopolitical arena since it is believed that whoever controls the Middle East economic affairs has the power to control the world.
Iran is an oil-rich country and the discovery of a new oil field with over 50 billion barrels is can be a variable pushing the USA to attack the Middle East country.
