GAIN Cash & Carry Introduces WhatsApp Orders And Home Delivery

In the wake of COVID-19 outbreak, one of Zimbabwe’s largest wholesale grocery shops, GAIN Cash & Carry, has introduced ordering via WhatsApp and the delivery of orders to customers at home.

To buy, customers send their grocery list to some WhatsApp numbers. They then get a quotation for the groceries as well as the delivery charge. They can then pay the wholesale chain via EcoCash, OneMoney or ZIPIT. Delivery of the groceries, the shop says, takes about 48 hours.

The service is also available to those in the diaspora and they can pay via a service called Zympay.

The services is available for people in Zimbabwe’s major cities – Harare, Bulawayo, Gweru, Mutare and Masvingo.

GAIN joins other grocery eCommerce companies locally such as Fresh in a box and Foodworld.
