Harare Magistrate Postpones Tsenengamu's Bail Ruling

EEFZ leader Godfrey Tsenengamu will have to spend another night in custody before Harare Magistrate Ngoni Nduna delivers a ruling on his bail application, The Herald reports.

Nduna said he is yet to complete his bail ruling and it will only be available tomorrow and Tsenengamu will sleep in custody again tonight.

Tsenengamu handed himself to the police on Friday ending close to 3 months in hiding after ZRP published a statement that said they wanted to interview him and 14 other activists in July just before the 31st of July’s planned protests.

The sate while opposing Tsenengamu’s bail bid on Saturday said him being in custody was for his own safety.
