Today is the birthday of Zimbabwean radio and television personality Patience Musa who works for ZiFM Stereo as a producer/presenter. Here are five interesting facts about her:
- She is the daughter of cartoonist Hassan Musa.
- Musa studied for a Diploma in Graphic Designing at the Harare Polytechnic
- Patience started singing backing vocals for different local artists such as Taso, the gospel group Gospel Trumpet, Fungai Malianga and Matthew Kaunda. She was part of a group Mateo and Friends together with Willom Tight and Mateo Kaunda. Together they released songs such as “Asambe Africa” and the highly successful “Pamuhacha”.
- As a solo artist she has released albums such as; With Love (2002), Patience (2005) and Patie (2010).
- She was once part of Nexus, a talent agency that was founded by Edgar Langevelt.
