Tinashe Parts Ways With RCA Records

Tinashe and RCA Records have parted ways after working together since 2012. Tinashe shared a screenshot of her announcement to Rolling Stone on Instagram and praised the move.

Her manager Mike Nazzaro told Rolling Stone that she was not dropped, contrary to the rumors on social media. he said the split from RCA has been official for a month. Said Nazzaro:

She wasn’t dropped. We initiated for her to be released. It was a positive split for her. It’s giving her back creative control.

In 2016, Tinashe expressed “creative differences” to Rolling Stone, and cites the end of the relationship with RCA as a “respectful separation on both sides.”
