"God Bless Zimbabwe!” - President Mnangagwa's Festive Period Message
President Emmerson Mnangagwa has wished Zimbabweans the best and blessed festive season urging them to show love to one another.
Speaking at the ZANU PF’s 18th Annual People’s Conference which ends today in Goromonzi, Mashonaland East, Mnangagwa said:
The last thing (that you must go back home and tell others) is that we have been told that love one another and love your country. Love one another and love your country. The Zimbabwe we want is possible. Victory is certain! I wish you all a Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year. God bless you all! God bless Zimbabwe!
FeedbackHis remarks come when the country is divided due to socioeconomic and political crises bedevilling the country with the main political parties, ZANU PF and the MDC shifting blame to each other.
The country is submerged in socioeconomic and political crises characterised by hyperinflation, a huge deficit in fuel, food, power, medicines, cash, foreign currency and water, and a diminishing democratic space.

Due to issues above, the ordinary Zimbabwean has, unfortunately, braced for a dull festive season this time around.
