WATCH: Kazembe Gives An Update On Passports Situation

Home Affairs and Cultural Heritage Minister Kazembe Kazembe said that a “significant chunk” of the backlog for machine-readable passports has been cleared to date and the passports will remain in use until they expire.

Kazembe also said the Central Registry is currently serving approximately 1 000 people daily, who are applying for electronic passports (e-passports).
