Warriors Defender Alec Mudimu Joins Flint Town United
Flint Town United Football Club have completed the signing of Warriors defender Alec Mudimu.
Flint Town competes in the Cymru Premier, the highest tier of Welsh football.
Mudimu’s representatives PES FOOTBALL AGENCY announced the 27-year-old’s move to the Welsh club in a statement released on 08 March 2023. Reads the statement:
We are delighted to confirm the transfer of Alec Mudimu to Flint Town Football Club in the first tier of the JD Cyrmu Premier League.
Alec is a Zimbabwe International with 26 appearances, experience in several World Cup qualification games and 2 African Cup of Nations tournaments where he produced outstanding performances against elite players from countries such as Egypt, Algeria, Ghana and Cameroon.

After making 69 appearances and scoring 12 goals in all competitions for Cefn Druids, Alec was sold for a club and league record fee to Sherriff Tiraspol in the Moldovan Premier League.
Further transfers to Ankaraspor who were in the Turkish Championship at the time of his transfer and Georgian Premier League club Torpedo Kutaisi have equipped Alec with a wealth of valuable European experience which is a massive coup for Flint Town who are seeking to have a strong finish to the 2022/23 season and secure the European playoff spot that would provide a route into the 2023/23 UEFA Conference League.
