Job Description

Applicants are invited from suitably qualified and experienced persons to fill the vacant posts that have arisen in the Zimbabwe Human Rights Commission.

Reports To: Human Resource Director.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing the Monitoring and Evaluation policy and procedures in liaison with the Human Resources Director.
  • Assist in the development of monitoring and impact indicators for the Commission's programmes.
  • Monitor and evaluate the success and sustainability of programmes.
  • Participate in annual performance reviews and planning and assist management in preparing relevant reports on lessons learnt from the various programme innovations.
  • Train the Commission staff on monitoring and evaluation systems and processes.
  • Conducts client, stakeholder and employee satisfaction surveys.
  • Monitor and evaluate the implementation of the Integrated Results Based Management (IRBM) system.
  • Monitors and evaluate the implementation of the Commission's Strategic Plan.
  • Attends to NDS1 Governance Thematic Working Group meetings and submit reports on behalf of the Commission.
  • Performs any other duties within the scope of this job as maybe assigned from time to time. 

Qualifications and Experience

  • Special Honours in Monitoring and Evaluation or Post Graduate Diploma in Monitoring and Evaluation.
  • Project management skills and knowledge in IRBM is an added advantage.
  • 2 years working experience in a similar environment.
  • Training, Communication and interpersonal skills. Must be a person of high integrity, ethical, honest and responsible person.
  • Report writing skills.
  • Data analysis skills.
