Senior police officer shoots himself at Matapi Police Station

A senior police officer killed himself by at Matapi Police Station in Mbare yesterday.  The officer shot himself.  The police are investigating the case, to confirm the suicide as well as to establish reasons.

Police spokesperson, Senior Assistant Commissioner Charity Charamba confirmed the incident saying

I can confirm we have received such a report, but I am yet to be briefed on the circumstances surrounding the incident.
