CAPS United starts process of registering Tsipa for CAF Champions League

Speaking to SportsBrief yesterday, CAPS United Football Club’s chief executive Cuthbert Chitima said they had started the process of registering veteran striker Leonard Tsipa for the Confederation of African Football (Caf) Champions League group stage.

Said Chitima:

We have five slots and Tsipa will fill one of the slots. We have begun the process of registering him ahead of the group stage. As for the other remaining slots we will have to hear from the coach whether there are going to be additions.

Tsipa was deregistered by the club over uncertainty about his availability to the team this season after he indicated he was club hunting in Tanzania and Ethiopia.
