Police to arrest bars and bottle store owners if they open beyond allowed times over Easter

The Zimbabwe Republic Police has urged bars and bottle stores to operate within the stipulated hours or risk arrest. Bulawayo police spokesperson Inspector Precious Simango said the police have observed that during holidays, liquor shops operate beyond their allowed times.

Said Simango:

We want to warn them that police will be in full force patrolling to make sure that bottle stores and bars are in compliance with their licences. Those that will be found on the wrong side of the law will be arrested.
