Evicted disabled people to receive $800 each as start-up capital
Public Service, Labour, nd Social Welfare Minister Prisca Mupfumira has revealed that the government will assist the disabled people who were evicted from the Leonard Cheshire Home. Each of them is set to rceive $800 as startup capital. They were evicted from the Home in the avenues after losing a legal battle whicch dragged on for almost 18 years.

The Department of Social Welfare also committed to facilitating the disbursement of start-up capital to the tune of $800 each by the Leonard Cheshire Executive
Alternative temporary accommodation has been identified at the Ruwa Rehabilitation Centre, but the offer has been rejected by the affected persons.
