Zimbabwe tennis players Takanyi Garanganga and Benjamin Lock experienced contrasting fortunes at the Nigeria Futures tennis tournament. Benjamin Lock who was seeded sixth crashed out of the tournament following a loss to Moez Echargui of Tunisia. Garanganga on the other hand, entered the tournament seeded seventh and advanced to the second round after dispatching Pablo Muro of Spain
6-0 and 6-2.
Lock endured more heartbreak after he was eliminated from the doubles tournament via a super tie break. Locka and his canadian partner Brayden Schnur had entered the torunmanent as the number four seed.
