Wednesday’s parliamentary deliberations revealed that village heads have reportedly gone for 8 months without receiving their monthly allowances. The village heads receive a monthly allowance of $25. Rural Development minister Abednico Ncube said that all village heads who were registered should follow up with their District Administrator’s offices on the issue of allowances. He said that all registered heads were entitled to the allowances.
