If There Is No Rigging Mujuru Will Win Presidential Election, ED Will Be Third After Tsvangirai: PDP
The splinter party of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) led by Lucia Matibenga has claimed that Joice Mujuru will win this year presidential election if the military stays out of the elections and if there is no rigging. The party also claimed that President Emmerson Mnangagwa will finish a distant third behind Mujuru and longtime opposition leader Morgan Tsvangirai. The PDP also warned that the Zimbabwe Defence Forces will be unable to perform a third successive military coup as Sadc and International Community will not stand for it.
Speaking to Southern Eye, PDP vice-president, Sikhumbuzo Ndiweni
Mujuru will come first if there is no abuse of State machinery and resources to campaign for a factional Zanu PF.
FeedbackWithout rigging, Mujuru and PRC will win Mashonaland East, Central and West. The other three competitors will split Harare, Bulawayo and other cities, with Mujuru in the lead, followed by Morgan Tsvangirai (MDC-T) and Emmerson Mnangagwa (Zanu PF) coming as the third.
…Now, after loss, the army faction will blame Mnangagwa and condemn him to pension and take over, not realising it will be the end of Zanu PF. So this election, without fear or favour, is pregnant with a possibility of a Mujuru victory and birth of real Zimbabwe.
