President Emmerson Mnangagwa on Thursday swore in Dr Vincent Hungwe as the new chairperson of the Civil Service Commision. Hungwe’s appointment follows the retirement of his predecessor Dr Mariyawanda Nzuwah in March. Before Hungwe’s appointment, Dr Mary Margaret Muchada was the acting chairperson.
Speaking after the swearing-in ceremony, Hungwe said,
It will be presumptuous of me to identify problems which are in the office right now, I am starting work tomorrow that is when I will see, but I am ready to face it.
