Zanu-PF Supporters Blocked From Leaving Mnangagwa Rally In Mutoko
Zanu-PF supporters who attended President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s rally in Mutoko over the weekend are reported to have have been blocked from leaving the venue by the police. The police wanted the restive supporters to continue seating until the President had completed his speech and all the top leadership had exited the rally venue. However, the supporters were complaining that they needed time to walk the long distances back to their homes.
A senior party official was heard saying,
I know you have walked long distances to come here, but just hold on until the leadership has gone.
