Met Department Warns Of Violent Thunderstorms Today

In a weather update posted on its official Facebook page, the Meteorological Services Department (MSD)  warned of violent thunderstorms in almost all the country’s provinces today.

The department urged people to take precautionary measures that include avoiding outdoor activities when there are signs of rain. MSD said:

On Friday there will be widespread thunderstorm activity in almost all provinces of the country with down pours projected over the main watershed.
