ED, Parties To State House Dialogue To Visit Chimanimani
Vice President Constantino Chiwenga revealed that President Emmerson will this week visit Cyclone-devastated areas accompanied by the leaders of the political parties participating in the State House dialogue.
Speaking to villagers at Masasa Primary School in Chikomba, Mashonaland East province, at the handover of aid to survivors of Cyclone Idai, Chiwenga said:
Next week, all the parties that are participating in the national dialogue agreed to accompany the President and visit Chimanimani in order to assess and try to assist with solutions to the tragedy that devastated that area.
FeedbackThose who refuse to participate in the dialogue will show that they do not care about the people of Zimbabwe.
This is why you should ask them when they come here looking for votes where they were when disaster was on your door.
Opposition MDC leader Nelson Chamisa visited Manicaland province soon after the cyclone ripped through the province.
He was accompanied by senior party officials, among them were Douglas Mwonzora, Elias Mudzuri, Morgen Komichi, Murisi Zwizwai and Jacob Mafume.
