FIFA Bans Zimbabwean Football Agent For Life, For Match-fixing
A Zimbabwean football agent, Kudzanai Shaba has been handed a life ban from any kind of football-related activity at both national and international level by the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA).
Shaba was found guilty of match-fixing. He is among 6 other football agents who have received life bans.
FIFA announced on Wednesday that Shaba was part of a cabal who worked with Wilson Raj Perumal, a convicted Singaporean match-fixer, to fix matches for betting purposes.
In 2012 Shaba was slapped with a life ban after ZIFA found him guilty of taking part in the infamous Asiagate Scandal.
He was, however, pardoned by a new ZIFA administration appointed in 2016.
