Ruvheneko Opens Up On Career Mistakes
Radio personality and youth activist Ruvheneko Parirenyatwa has acknowledged that she has failed a number of times. Ruvheneko shared on her career; how she ended up in media, the mistakes she’s made and social media abuse during a talk at an Impact Hub Harare event on failure this week.
Said Ruvheneko:
I was at ZiFM stereo radio station. I interviewed Pastor Evan Mawarire, the days when #ThisFlag was still very new. That was my last show on ZiFM and those of you who understand the political environment in Zimbabwe know that that was a very risky thing to do.
FeedbackWhen Ruvheneko Live collapsed it wasn’t that it wasn’t working, it was brilliant and I was on top of my game at that time.
The show was however discontinued when her partner in the project, Tawanda, died. Ruvheneko said she relied too much on the partner. Ruvheneko also shared that it was a mistake for her to join Zimpapers “for security over destiny”.
