Vuzu/Orgy Party Youths Sentenced To 3 Months In Prison
Three out of 131 youths who were arrested on Saturday in Bulawayo for conducting the infamous “vuzu” parties in the city have each been sentenced to three months in prison. The sentence was however wholly suspended on condition that they complete 105 hours of community service.
The three pleaded guilty to criminal nuisance.
The other six were arrested on the same day were cautioned and discharged after they had pleaded guilty to the charges.
ZRP Acting Spokesperson for Bulawayo province, Inspector Abednico Ncube revealed to the ZBC News yesterday that some of the young people are alleged to have been drunk on alcohol and drugs. Alcohol, drugs and used condoms, as well as sex enhancing pills, were discovered at the crime scene
The accused and their parents and guardians were seen loitering around Tredgold Building yesterday. Many of the accused were later cautioned and discharged.
